Lisbon Airport will have a new hotel

ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, SA. (VINCI Airports Group) and Hoti Airport (Hoti Hotels Group) have concluded negotiations that will allow Hoti Hotels to transform Building 125, located at Lisbon Airport, for use in managing and operating a new hotel unit.

Hence, an Occupancy and Operation with Construction in the Public Airport Domain License was signed today (21/07), in a ceremony that took place at the Tryp Oriente Hotel, attended by the President of ANA, Jorge Ponce de Leão and the President of Hoti Hotels, Manuel Proença.

The investment in modifying and extending Building 125 – with a current aboveground area of 3,805 m2 – for the hotel unit and similar hotel uses shall be borne by Hoti – Airport Hotel.

Located beside the Tryp Lisbon Airport Hotel (also belonging to the Hoti Hotels Group), next to the Lisbon International Airport, 1 km from Parque das Nações, this will be a new 3 star hotel unit, which will require an investment of 7 million euros, and directly create 40 new jobs. The joint operation of the two hotels, which will now have a total capacity of over 650 beds, and of the current Tryp Lisbon Airport Hotel conference centre, will allow a wider range of offerings at this location.

With this partnership, ANA seeks to meet the demands of the sustained traffic growth seen at Lisbon Airport, which requires a timely ability to respond in order to ensure passenger satisfaction at all times.
